Fifth Grade Teacher

Hello! My name is Mrs. Melissa, and I’m so excited to be your 5th grade teacher this year! I’ve been teaching for 7 years; I've worked with all elementary grades. I love this grade because we get to learn so many interesting things, grow as readers and writers, and explore fun topics.

I graduated from Ashford University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education Studies and am currently earning my master's in applied Behavior Analyst. I really loved the behavior world and all the interesting things you can learn from it.  Teaching is my first passion, and I love helping students reach their full potential.
